We're very excited to have a three page spread featuring ForGirlsLikeUs full lace wigs in Hype Hair's Spring Style magazine, April issue. "For the Love of Lace" showcases four sassy spring looks and how to achieve them using the FGLU Virtual Hairline System. The first look was a razor cut, long conservative bob, "sophisticated enough for day and sassy enough for the evening." The second look continued with the razor cut, into a shorter bob. The third look featured a Malaysian Remi unit combined with light Yaki, the hair was parted in the center for a straight, sleek look. The last look showed a Malaysian Remi in a deep wave. The hair was worn curly for a kinky curly look, perfect for spring.

ForGirlsLikeUs participated in our first bridal show this weekend, Bosco's Bridal Fashion Show and Expo right here in our hometown of Stamford. Circle of Sisters - Wow!

Wow, we'd like to thank everyone who came by the ForGirlsLikeUs booth at the Circle of Sisters show this weekend. We had a ton of traffic and the sisters were loving our Indian, Chinese and Malaysian Remy full lace wigs. We did a number of applications on site, our customers were thrilled with their new looks. We had also two raffle winners win full lace units, Jacqueline Brown and Natalie White. The event attracted thousands from the NY metro area. We were thrilled to meet new people and tell them all about the benefits of full lace wigs as well as see some familiar faces. Clip-in Hair Extensions

We would like to welcome our readers into fall with a few thoughts we had on a recent wedding we took part in. On September 6th, our marketing director, Jennifer, was a bridesmaid in wedding for one of her lifelong girlfriends. We decided this was a good time to test-drive some clip in hair extensions to potentially add to our collection of full lace wigs and accessories. Hair extensions, and clip in hair extensions in particular, are a great way to enhance your look. They can add length and/or fullness to your existing hair and are perfect for special occasions. The Scoop on Satin Lace Tape

One of our staffers, Sakinah, recently road-tested our new Satin Lace Tape on her full lace wig. Here is what she had to say:

"I had a good experience with Satin Lace Tape. It’s thinner than the other standard tapes and doesn’t guarantee an extended hold, but I do believe layering it with another adhesive can bring about stronger results.

Since I’m allergic to most tapes, I took a chance and tried it out and had no breakouts. Without any other adhesives, I applied the tape around the perimeter. The front stayed well through the humidity of the weather, but I got lift in the back, which I know many have experienced with using only tape.

It’s been about 5 days since I’ve had the tape on (and I'm ready to reapply with new tape) and I've had no allergic reaction. I recommend clients who have sensitivity to most tapes to give Satin Lace Tape a try."
