Last September, we took part in an amazing event in NYC sponsored by WBLS radio called Circle of Sisters. The event brings together women business owners and is one of, if not the largest event, for women of color in the tri-state area. The response we received at Circle of Sisters was incredible. We even had women taking out their weaves, right then and there, to have a ForGirlsLikeUs full lace wig applied! WBLS asked us to share our success story with their listeners. The 2008 Circle of Sisters event is taking place on October 11th and 12th at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in NYC. ForGirlsLikeUs will ofcourse be there.
